Anyone notice that how many present day coaching blokes were running around in that game? Even Fruity was our runner. John Blakey was playing his 354ishhh.
I remember going out with the FIL to watch Fitzroy in the early 90's and all he did was bitch and moan about how useless Blakey was. Not bad for a guy who ended up playing 350+ games.
I guess some of us will have that same egg on our faces in years to come.
