Our best future Brownlow chance I reckon (aside from another Goodes medal of course). He's got that flair and creative spark which probably makes him more likely to get noticed than someone like Kennedy.
Jack's 'breakout' game

We may not have any of the top dozen or so midfielders in the comp (on reputation) but our midfield does run increditbly deep at the moment.
Kennedy, Jack, Hanners, McVeigh, ROK, Bolton are all capable of getting high 20s / 30s possession numbers in a game. They won't all do it every week but if a team shuts one down, another couple are able of popping up for their turn. Can add Parker to that group too, assuming he forces his way back into the side.Comment

He's become a gun outside midfielder. The whole midfield has lifted since Macca has returned to form. The added depth that has given us has gotten us back to where we were in the 2nd half against Hawthorn. I'm seeing some signs that Goodes isn't far away from top form either.Today's a draft of your epitaphComment

The form he produced late in 2010 is reappearing and if he can produce it for a season I agree with the Brownlow chance.
but, when you say "best chance" he has some tough competition,
IMHO Luke Parker is a player who in a few years time who could challenge for brownlow - he does a lot of work under the umpires noses
Jetta may not be your typical brownlow recipient but is starting to influence a lot of games and is still improving
While forwards typically don't win a lot of brownlows Sam Reid has the potential to be an exception if he fulfills that potential
In recent times Sydney has probably won more than its fair share of brownlows and I hope it can continue, regardless if it is Goodsey or one of the newer bloods.Comment

I could not believe (though no at all surprised) just how good his stats are over the last couple of months. I thought he was a standout BOG against the Lions the other week - it felt like almost every time the ball was extracted and went forward, Jack was involved, either getting the clearance, or getting the ball out of the congestion. He is not far off career best form, and as that article says, he has the ability to break open the game, and that will be critical come September.http://www.dailytelegraph.com.au/spo...-1226429091425
Seems that we're not the only ones that think Jack is awesome. Look at his stats!
I just love our midfield group though... lots of depth, lots of hard heads, and lots of players to share the load. What is so great at the moment is that if 1 or 2 have a quiet game, the rest of them have a better game to compensate. Then the next week someone else might have a quiet game or get shut down, but someone else stands up. They work as a 'team' - which is just wonderful to watch, and which is why we have suddenly jumped from cannon fodder to potential serious Premiership challengers. We don't have any superstars perhaps, but tell me a team with a better all round midfield group than ours?"You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

He has been receiving plenty of praise on the various footy shows.Nothing like a good light bulb moment.Comment

Yes Jack is getting some deserved praise from a lot of people lately. Let's hope he keeps it up...
I really love the way he plays with such speed and hardness. He has a bit of a kamikaze approach at the ball (Paul Kelly anyone?) combined with some great footspeed. His skills are pretty good too - its all coming together for him at the moment.
I see Kizza or Hanners as our next Brownlow chances over the next few years....Comment

I still wouldn't write off Kennedy this year. If he has a couple of big games between now and H&A season's end (not out of the question), he has to be a chance after you-would-suspect strong polling in early rounds.Comment
