Well it's a lifestyle choice for me. I find it odd that you'd fork out the dough for a membership and then not show up. I accept that things come up at the last minute, and that we go overseas on holidays etc but you have all year to plan out your dinners, family gatherings etc so they don't clash. The fixture list allows it.
Today's a draft of your epitaph

My family, friends, acquaintances, everyone in the known universe who has ever met me knows that if they want me to attend anything it must be planned around Swans games and that I go to every home game no matter the weather, my health, whatever...

That's just me though and I understand that not everybody's life revolves around their football team and that's their prerogative.

I once had to have a colonoscopy that clashed with a game. I just bought the seat behind me for the surgeon so I could still watch the game during the procedure. I guess not everyone is as committed as some of us.

SCG Members cannot take guests i was recently told and can now only sit in the old stands. That has to be worth over 5000 per game

Can you do this for every game, or is it only done if it is looking like a sell-out?
We can do that, but we have to do it individually for every game. I've moved to Perth and would like to offer my seat back for all games, but I have to remember to do it every week, which is something I'm not good at!

They make you sit on the jcb's and sand piles at the other end! Tough

I may actually be able to make it to a game this weekend!!!! YAY!!!! First game of the year. The only times I've been able to get down to Sydney have been times we've been playing away! Add to that no Canberra games this year, and it's been really frustrating.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

It's always better if you just eat them, especially after that procedure.
