    Home final where?

Does anyone know where we would play a final if (when) we get one? With the SCG being renovated I would have thought there will be a tough balancing act between playing at the SCG, the true home ground and supporter favourite and the much larger ANZ.

They'd struggle to get all members into the SCG this year, so non-member tickets would be very rare.

As someone else suggested, perhaps someone might just happen to get in and dig it up... Anything can happen. It's up to the AFL right? Maybe Skoda needs a final. No idea why that would happen, but as SCG is highly unlikely, would it be better than ANZ? I've never been there but hear good things.

Will be ANZ, as long as it is available when the AFL wants it.

It will be ANZ this year and next whilst the renos are happening - however from 2014 onwards there is no excuse for us not to play ALL our home games, including finals, at our home the SCG.

Our best chance of an SCG final is likely to be if we get a prelim. Depends on when the NRL needs it - we probably want to be supporting teams like Souths and the Bulldogs and hoping the Storm and Broncos don't get too many home finals.

To repeat: Will be ANZ, as long as it is available when the AFL wants it.

From ANZ's website: "The Swans will play a minimum of three home games a year at ANZ Stadium, as well as home finals, until at least 2016 with the marquee contest against Collingwood one of the regular fixtures."

Erica, I'm feeling your pain but I'm sure you could find less thicker toilet paper.

There is no chance of the SCG having a final this year. No chance.

I wouldn't be counting on a home final yet, as we have too many top sides to play.

I'm still catching up with the technology. I will investigate though as I need a new toy.

I'm Ok with ANZ. Can you imagine a prelim against Collingwood or Hawthorn with 60-80,000 in attendance? I think that would be "advantage Sydney Swans".

Admittedly, there won't be that many with any other opposition (Bombers ain't going to cut the mustard at the deep end) but 25,000 at the SCG doesn't compare on the books or as an advantage to the boys.

Unfortunately the Swans lost the last two times there was capacity crowds at ANZ. However that has nothing to do with the crowd size.

The Collingwood game with 70K and the Prelim in 2003 against the Lions.

They need great pre-match entertainment to attract the crowds. Christina Anu singing My Island Home or Normy Rowe the singing fossil.

There were crowds when there were pre-match shows, you can't argue with stats.

Now you're talking. How about a trio performance from the three channeling Sinatra, Minelli and Davis Jr.
