Fabulous performance from the lads. The question mark for me has been whether the team themselves really believe they are a contender this year. After that you'd have to say they do. Sure, the Toasters were far from full strength but we pulverised them in the midfield. Every single one of our mids played an outstanding game today. Pykey and Mummy's efforts in nullifying Cox and NicNat were outstanding too. And even Everitt looks like he is gradually gaining confidence. Some nice touches from him today.

Huge game next week because the Saints made our mids look dreadful earlier this year. Surely we won't be that bad again?

And is there room for Parker in the side? Probably not if there are no injuries but obviously a huge question mark over LRT for next week. Hopefully there are no fractures to his face this time. If he misses, expect to see Parker fight it out with TDL for the last spot in the team next week.

Does he speak french? He's from BC, so unless he picked it up playing rugby in france it seems a bit unlikely. I think french is really only spoken in the eastern states.

Mike Pyke had an Irish accent...I live not far from the Canadian border and he does not have a trace of a Canadian accent...What is the story here???

His accent sounded pretty Canadian to me, but you have to slow down the audio to understand it :-)

It's good isn't it!!! We played well - I was waiting for a WCE comeback be we snuffed them out well and good. Shut the crowd up nicely too which is always nice over there.... A very professional team performance...

Yes, it was great to be amongst the crowd doing it! The best part was using it to accompany waving goodbye to the Eagles fans as they started to leave early in Q4.
