    Update on SCG redevelopment

The SCG trust has angered building unions after it was revealed that Alastair Clarkson has been contracted to complete the demolition of the Noble, Bradman and Messenger stands following the Swans/Hawthorn clash in round 22.
An anonymous official was quoted as saying "the timing is perfect and it would have been a wasted opportunity given Alastair's expertise. It has also enabled us to bring forward the completion date by 3 months".

Very good - he is also good at "sharing" his knowledge with the umps a kids footy too. Is there nothing he can't do?;-)
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

We could get Freo, but they'd quit halfway through

If we need to demolish the club structure we could call on Wayne Carey.

If we need to put the bite on anyone, you call in Peter Filandia.

Calling in Tony Liberatore for a squirrel grip or Chris Judd to apply pressure points and chicken wings would ensure the workers didn't slack off on the worksite.

Just curious, will the SCG's ground be extended a little as a result of the redevelopment?

Yes it will be a bit longer apparently - cant remember by how long though.

That is unless they get Ben Cousins to do the lines....

Yes, they have recruited Jack Watts to work on that part of the project.

I think we're looking at bringing in Brisbane's young ruckman Billy Longer to work on it too...
