Jesse looks to be fully into business mode as a graphic designer, so I don't think he is too very worried. All power to him.

A person should never sacrifice passion for money (security). That's why I live in the pub.

The Club is saving him as their "secret weapon" come September.
Nothing like a good light bulb moment.

              Yes, I would've thought so.

Draw a really inspiring picture for the boys on grand final day?

I hope MM gets a run. I'm interested to see if he's improved. He has the potential to be the September X Factor if he's also doing all the things the coaches want from him.

                    Agree with this.

He's a different player now to the one that was sulking around the ground in the early games. I think it was just a matter for him to get used to the way the Swans do things.

Id love to see Mitch Morton get a 2 week crack at senior AFL. When you think about finals preparation, this week and next are the only two that suit, with maybe the bulldogs game afterwards giving him a 3 week trial if still undecided.

You dont want to be taking an experiment into Hawks or Geelong, and by then Reid will be back.

We've generally used the extended bench and the emergencies the same way. The coaching staff name the extra three guys as a way to say "You blokes are close to senior selection. You've been playing well in the reserves, keep it up and your chance will come." I'd be surprised if the final team was anything other than Mummy in for Reid.

It's a shame that we haven't received any decent reports on the game, based on the list that fronted up for the magoos last game you'd assume that Jesse probably had to ruck basically the entire game against what would have been some decent/experienced opposition (and we obviously won the game).
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

Agree completely, that's generally what they do. It's interesting that two of the emergencies and midsize forwards, so if Mummy or Goodes don't come up it will alter the complexion of our forward line significantly.
                              PS
Carltons inlcusion of Waite suggests they see this wek as do or die time.

Mumford in for Reid is the only change.
