    Magic on Q&A tonight

Only just noticed that Michael O'Loughlin is on Q&A tonight, sorry if it's mentioned elsewhere.

The show that puts you at the centre of the conversation. Each week, Q+A invites a panel of punters, pollies and pundits to talk through the big issues of the week and set the agenda for the week to come.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

I hope he doesn't faint. Not a good fainting protocol on that show.
Nothing like a good light bulb moment.

Met Magic at his book signing last week and he's every bit the nice bloke he appears to be. Had a chat with everyone and showed genuine interest in every conversation he had. A class act and without doubt my favourite player of all time.

The books a good read too so do yourself a favour and grab a copy.

Always had time for the man. Proper gentleman on show last night. Good quality opinions and presented well. Nice to know a man like that is still working within the Swans fold

It would have been interesting if they'd asked him about the Heuskes thing when talking about player behaviour though. That incident seems to have been airbrushed from history.

I agree that Magic did well, although David Pocock stole the show.

Funny how we see things differently, I thought he was the weakest (though John Alexander was definitely the most annoying). Magic and Shane Gould shared the honours for most engaging/interesting in my book.

I also thought David Pocock accounted for himself very well. He's a thoughtful, intelligent, empathetic and softly spoken young man. Mick didn't say anything I didn't expect from him.

John Alexander came across as an absolute tosser. You've gotta love Shane Gould and Louise Sauvage.

I initially dismissed David Pocock as being unable to answer a question until I woke up to the fact that this is a young man who thinks things through before saying an awful lot with a few measured words. Made me listen carefully to what he had to say next. What an interesting character.

Great rugby player to boot. He will join a long list of former Wallaby captains who leave a positive legacy for the game they play in some other heaven.

I agree. Had never heard of Pocock before (don't follow rugby at all) but he was thoughtful and respectful. JA was totally outclassed by the rest of the panel, which was made up of articulate and intelligent people. Mick O was excellent - so forthright.
