This is the Stage 3 Brewongle renovation. If you notice the roof line. It looks like they remove the current roof and put another floor in above the existing highest level.

The new big scoreboard underneath the Churchill Stabd end.

For those that were having sleepless nights wondering how it will look.
Nothing like a good light bulb moment.

This is how the current development will look with the new scoreboard.

If you look carefully, I think the OR'eilly has Stage 4 on top of it.

So no chance of another ground in Sydney in the next 20 years you would think.

Now get on the phone DirtyBurt. Say to your mates "you know what? I know you hate ANZ, I do too. I know it will be a bit whiffy with all that black and white riff raff there, I know the beer is watery and we are going to see Jetta through a cloud of turf and sand as he lopes down the wing but we are going to witness the breaking of a 7 year hoodoo. We are going to watch Nafan's nose expand so wide it reaches around and his nostrils join at the back of his head as he sucks in the air in the final quarter when we kick 8 unanswered goals to go 60 points clear and his head explodes. I know that was a long sentence. Longer than the trek out to Homebush on the train but I got a feeling we need to be there."

          Go on.

Lol, that you do. I am currently undertaking some SAS training in anticipation in case I fail the toughness test. Is it done at the station or on entry to the ground?

Failure is not in a Swans fans' vocabulary.

We must have met during those days. That's exactly what it was like.

It's even worse when they give you change.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

Its worse still when they give you a tip.

Sorry where were we? Oh, yeah, I have encouraged a few wavering workmates to get out there Saturday. I'm definitely getting a sense that there is a decent-sized footy match coming up this weekend in Sydney. Will be an even bigger vibe tomorrow when we get write-ups in the Herald and Telly...

Not only will we be there, but we have the 14 year membership event beforehand. And just to make the excitement even more fever pitch, a nice young man from the Swans (aren't they all!) called me today and said I had been drawn in the group to be part of the honour guard as they run out!!! Ah, the joy for an old cougar!
