    Rooster

Great to see him at the game Sunday arvo. He will be back quicker and more bionic next year. It is fantastic he, and the club, have him at every game.

I look forward to him captaining our club in the future. Fantastic young bloke, who loves our club.

Yeah he's been everywhere! I think it's great he's staying amongst it while he recuperates. Must be hard spectating but at least he knows what's going on. Can't wait til he plays his first game, I think the stadium will go crazy

If he didn't meet a sliding Lindsay Thomas, I shudder to think how good we would be, and with another 20 odd games under his belt , how good the Rooster would be.

Of all players, that idiot Thomas had to be the one. I hope he recovers really well and returns even better in 2013.

The quality of kids we have at the club at the moment is extraordinary. I'm not just talking about footballing ability either. Before the Geelong game over at Fox Studios we ran into Parks and Jed who were more than willing to have a chat. Great blokes and from what I can see the Rooster fits that description as well.

The clubs future is in pretty good hands.

I too have had brief chats this year with Rooster (pre-injury), Parks, Lewis Jetta, Armstrong and Mummy, and all were quality guys who were more than happy to chat to the fans. We do have some quality youngsters, and I'm not just talking about on the field.

I just hope we all have a bit of patience with Rooster next year - I think he'll take a while yet to get over such a horrific injury...

My biggest concern and I hope I am so wrong is that he misses his family and friends very much and may look to moving closer to home once again I pray that I am wrong

An RWOer who sat next to him asked a similar question and apparently he made a horrified/disgusted look on his face and outright said No! Obviously things can change but right now I'd doubt he'd go back

Or to put it another way, he's seen Gay Paree, he's not itching to get back to the farm.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

It's why I'm still here in Sydney after many many years. And really, who would want to leave after living here?
