Paul Roos to coach GWS in 2014

I'm surprised no one has brought this up or no one watches the Footy Show. Damien Barrett said that GWS is chasing Roos for 2014 and he has not ruled out coaching.

With their list, he probably thinks he can add another Premiership coaching medal to the mantle.

Apparently just waiting for his son to complete year 12 next year and he will be off.

Taidgh is being groomed to take over in the Swans Academy.

That should add much joy amongst the RWO posters.

Maybe he was swayed by the $3:90 chips.
Nothing like a good light bulb moment.

I agree but I wonder where that leaves Choco? He has been really good. Couldn't imagine him back at Port.

Sheedy will stay at the Club in a lesser role. Probably similar to Eade and Thompson.

But if he goes, will the sequel be just as good as the original?

If it eventuates, it will be very interesting to see what game style he would bring, given the undoubted talent he would have to work with.

A totally different proposition to the Swans of 2002.

For what it's worth... I like orange, one of my favourite colours...and works well with charcoal !

And I love their song, when they finally learn to sing it it'll sound great....

Other than that , I hope we flog them from here to eternity.

Their song is good, which is rare for a new team. Port, freo and wce would be spewing

I think Roos is getting just as much satisfaction out of running the academy, without the aggravation or the 40-mile commute.

I think so too, he has always said he is not a career coach. I wouldn't rule it out, but I think at the moment he's probably enjoying life without the stress of being a senior coach, and I don't blame him!
