Let's all support the Gold Coast tomorrow? Love to see Hawks beaten too. (but not holding my breath)

      Am I being overly sensitive?

Honestly, despite occupying top spot for a few weeks now, it didn't cross my mind that we had a genuine chance for the minor premiership. Adelaide have a dream run home and we have quite the opposite. Only now, after basking in the glory of those two great losses, do I realise that we've very nearly got one hand on the MP already.

If we turn up tomorrow and come away with a win, it will take one win in a blockbuster game, at a sold out SCG to nab it. What would be sweeter, winning the MP in front of an adoring crowd at our spiritual home? My only regret is that Jude's 300th isn't on the same day, but given our record for big occasion games, perhaps it is a bonus.

Need to win at Etihad .... It would be a streak of 2 Melbourne games ... when was the last time we did that ?

This shows the importance of winning the close ones. Had we beaten Adelaide and Collingwood we'd aready be minor premiers. Just one of those and we'd already be assured of top two.

As it is we need to win one of the last two PLUS beat the Dogs tomorrow!

Oh gee whiz! There is some nervous excitement brewing in my stomach after tonight's results! They mean absolutely NOTHING unless we can back it up and win.

Focus pure and simple on tomorrow's game! Come on Swannies!

I'm sure their fans are saying the same thing! I guess it's just the nature of the sport and the way things pan out.

Any chance the Gold Coast can "Arrive" in the AFL tomorrow??

No need to be greedy. I only want a nice percentage boosting win for us.

Looks like we'll be versing Collingwood in rd.1 of the finals at ANZ if we top the ladder though :/

As long as we back it up today with a good win, the Hawks won't be mucking about with GC, after that it's going to come down to whether we beat Hawks at the SCG
