AFL 360 Robinson comment along the lines of the Swans team, fans and Jack should be aggrieved at the penalty change to allow Minson to play this weekend, Stomp deemed to be accidental what a joke.

Probably been the worst year for consistency and decisions from the MRP. Was a blatant stomp and showed no signs of remorse after coathangering him and stepping on him

Minson defended himself by telling the MRP he was checking out
Mr Jacks face to see if there was any blood there. The MRP swallowed it, and his action was down graded to reckless.
He's such a caring man Mr Minson.

Looked to me like he hit Kieren's face then looked down at the body on the ground and paused for a split second to be sure that he had lined up the leg accurately, then STOMP. And walked away without looking back as you would do if you did it by accident.

This is the same fella who was suspended by his club a couple of months ago for making inappropriate non-football insults at an opponent.
Seems like a nasty little piece of work to me.

Match Review Panel - Minson decision

I used to believe the fluff about Minson, how he was some sort of modern, educated, jazz listening, theory debating intellectual. However the brain fades, infractions and misdemeanors are too common to be accidents.

He is a dog, and I very rarely hate players. After his actions on the weekend, I would not hesitate on expressing how he disgusts me not just as a player but as a person. He is filth.

What a pathetic suck up that was. He stepped on his leg and didn't even turn round to look if he caused damage.
Nothing like a good light bulb moment.

He's a grub of a player. Sooner rather than later, everyone else will realise it and his weak excuses will get him nowhere.

Tribunal has a good record this year of going soft on players reported against us. Rohan's leg breaker Lindsay Thomas got three weeks down to none, and now this disgraceful act gets reduced from one week to none. Appalling decision. Aside from anything else, the only reason Kieran was there to be stomped on was because Minson coat hangered him. Either act is low, both together are the actions of a particularly nasty grub (with other indiscretions under the belt). I doubt the doggies would be happy with any of what he's served up this year.

No such joy the other way from the Tribunal though - Goodesy's slide (which caused no damage) was upheld by the same mob. Fortunately not much gets referred to the muppets on it, so there aren't enough incidents to prove any biases. But these three incidents entitle swans fans to feel our team might not be getting even handed treatment when things go past the MRP stage.

It is a baffling decision by the tribunal. If Minson was merely trying to step over Jack, his stride action would have been very different. There is a deliberate downward motion in how he brings his foot down onto Jack's leg, at a far more vertical angle than a normal stride, let alone one where you are trying to clear a playing lying in front of you.

MRP and the tribunal have no accountability. Minson clearly intentionally stomped on "Mr Jack". Poor decision by the tribunal and to the posts above about the difference between goodes and thomas's slides both should have been cleared of all charges. Maybe if the swans claimed Kieran had recieved grass abrasions Minson would have been watching his next game from the sidelines.

Just a dog act by a dog.

Why tf was he not charged for whacking Jack in the face anyway, which was what he was allegedly so concerned about!

Anyone who has played any form of contact sport knows that it is virtually impossible to tread on someone when you are in that situation, UNLESS IT IS INTENTIONAL! ... your natural reaction is to avoid doing so.

But since he was able to get the MRP to roll on their collective backs and tickle their tummies, he gets off.

What would they have done with Big Bad Bazza!?

Minson was just lucky he didn't have a crack at Kizzas mum while he stomped on him otherwise there would have been hell to pay.

As Robbo said last night if he was so caring why the @@@@ didn't he check whether Kizza had broken his leg when he stood on him.

With you on this one. If it is accidental, then the player immediately tries to take the weight off that foot and there is a stumble of sorts. No such action here - he planted his foot down and kept on walking. We are just very lucky that Kizza didnt get a break.
