Someone is having Kittens re Jude Retiring

Read on twitter this morning that SEN have announced that Jude is announcing his retirement this afternoon.

Umm.....I double SEN would be the first to hear it.

    @Jude_Bolton Retiring??

    From Twitter
    Steve @cheersquadsteve 7m
Jude Bolton retiring, say it isn't so #goswans #sydneyswans
    Steve @cheersquadsteve 3m
@RWOau SEN this morning, press conf at 2:30 #goswans #sydneyswans
    Do we believe SEN??

    From Uncle Martin
    Martin Blake @martinj_blake 22m
Some punter rings SEN and says @Jude_Bolton retiring today. Totally false. Training today, playing next week, aiming to play on in 2013.
    Having a PC @ 2:30 sound ominous.

Cheer squad people say some crazy stuff.
I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

If there is a presser, maybe it's to announce a new one year contract?

He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

That would be a significant turnaround from last Monday night when he was on OTC. Jude certainly didn't look like a person about to retire, He was jumping out of his skin to get back

I would bet they are announcing a 5 year contract extension or that he will now play on Saturday.

                That's possible - I watched a Swans/Bombers game this week with a young Fletcher playing. It was 1996 - 16 years ago.

Watched the same game. When I first flicked it over I got all excited thinking it was the Prelim final. Then I saw that the stands were half empty and knew it couldn't be

He'd been around for a while by then. 1993 premiership.

On Hey Jude, I desperately hope that isn't the case, and as Billy Ray said, there was no sign on Monday night that he was near the end. I think/hope we'll see him for a couple of years yet.

The injury update said he was doing speed and agility work at training this week . Unless something seriously bad has happened since then, there's no chance he'd becretiring.

Blake wouldn't like about a family member. SEN is full of bull@@@@, this likely falls into that category.

If it had been serious, then a decision wouldn't have been made in 2 days and announced with such a big game at stake.

Is it confirmed there is a press conference this afternoon? There's nothong on either the AFL website or the Swans.

Jude's done the T shirt range with Bucky so now he is releasing a new shorts range. The 3/4 length called the "Big Al Private Selection". Ken Done eat your heart out.

                          That must be it.
