There's a good pub across the road from the ground.
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

They are flying Siggy down to do the YMCA warm up pre-game again.

I was explaining to my sister who went to her first AFL game last Saturday that the Swans spare no expense when it came to pre-game entertainment.
Nothing like a good light bulb moment.

        Our Ruck Work

I thought our ruck tap work has been quite imprecise the last two games and this has cost us.Often Mummy or Pyke would get their hands on the ball first and purposely drop the ball at their feet rather than pick out a moving target with momentum up.The time when they should have done this in the centre bounce with 1 minute to go it was imperative they won the ruck and bottled the ball at their feet.Pendleberry and Sewell should never had got the ball out and run with it. I thought the ruck work needs looking at although the ruckmen's field play has been excellent. When we are in front with a minute to go we must go man on man and create stoppage after stoppage. It didn't happen!

Hope so Wardy, as I need somewhere warm and beer-friendly pre-game. Will I get out alive?

Actually there's 2 (on the highway side ) if you stand in the middle of the carpark you can see one a pub up hbe left and the right. There is also a really really nice pub up the end of one of the streets opposite the ground to cant remember the name but I had dinner there the night before the 2005 grand final with Oldroyboy, Benevelent Ert and Silent Lurker - good pub, good grub, good beer!!

This is really weird. I hate the gambling push but wanted to see what Robbie Waterhouse had to say about this weekend. So I watched on Swans TV. His lackey said complimentary things about various players then said that the Cats game was a line ball guess but he thought - and hoped - that the Swans would win. Then they showed the odds and the Cats are at about 1.65 and the Swans at 2.20. Line ball indeed. Are you allowed to lie then ask people to bet?

What the bookie thinks is irrelevant when it comes to the prices. They are set by the punters...

The price is set by the bookies initially, then adjusted as the punters start handing over their money.
It would be interesting to see what the starting price was Go Swannies, that would give and indication of how they originally saw the game.

Got that right, one of the best things that could of happened was the geelong bypass

I went with my old man to watch us lose at geelong for many years until last year we said no more. What do you know, we win! Well I'm not going again just in case it helps.
