A slightly better greeting than that received by Australia for their World Cup qualifier in Uruguay a few years ago !

Talk of "feral supporters" brings a wry smile to ol' Swansinger's handsome visage.
I grew up in England and attended soccer games , where barracking for the "wrong" team put one in danger of a beating - or even being stabbed.
So , AFL crowds do not intimidate me in the least. What's a bit of hollering against THAT ??

Lack of funds means I cannot go today , but I have done a fair share of away games and enjoy being outnumbered among opposition fans.
Never , never , NEVER stop cheering for The Swans in the face of so-called "intimidation".
If you don't walk a bit taller when wearing Red and White - well , there's something wrong with you.

"You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."

They could've sung 'The last plane back to Sydney's almost gone'.

My thoughts are that they had to sing it yesterday cause they won't get the opportunity today

                Bad grammar aside, quality.

Lay off BH, it's not his fault his parents picked the wrong Catholic school. No doubt Richards, Johnson and Hannebery will have pointed it out by now.

I'm sure they would have been there again on the way out, had the result been reversed....

My parents are Crows supporters and are arriving in Sydney this week, from Adelaide.
I'm considering picking them up from the airport in my Swans guernesey, singing Cheer Cheer....

                              "#helmet boy"? Kieren should talk!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
