24hrs to gameday, I'm starting to get particularly toey and it feels way different to previous PF's.
2006 - It just seemed a distraction on the way to the GF, never thought for one minute we could lose to Freo. Doesn't mean I was right, but just the way I felt. Was more worried about getting GF tickets than beating Freo.
2005 - I flew to Melb with no real confidence we could really win, a hard slog in Perth followed by the great escape at the SCG where for the first 3 quarters we played like crap.
2003 - It just seemed like we had already climbed to the top of the mountain by making a PF after many pundits had us pencilled in for the spoon. Up against two time premiers, i think the only time the whole week I thought we were a chance was at 3/4 time on the night.
1996 - Even though I can remember vividly details of just about every game that year, the whole year was such a high, I can't remember how I felt before that game, whether I thought we could win or lose.
This year will be an opportunity lost if we lose this one. We are deserved slight favourites and I truly believe if we play to our best we will have too much for them.
It seems much more nerve wrecking when you know it is ours to lose...Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09Comment

I'm 2 wins from 2 trips to Sydney in the last few years.
I'm sincerely hoping it will be 3 from 3.

Due to some licensing law, when the crowd at ANZ reaches 'x' figure (not sure what 'x' is, but it will apply tomorrow), The Brewery can only serve mid-strength beer in plastic cups, the same as at the ground. Prior to the last Collingwood game, we were drinking XXXX Gold in plastic cups @6.50, when we could have been at the ground drinking the same for $6.60.
I think I will give the crowded, generally hot confines of the Brewery a miss and just head straight to Aisle 119 where I will soak up a bit of atmosphere and have a hell of a lot more room and a better chance to chat...Driver of the Dan Hannebery bandwagon....all aboard. 4th April 09Comment

Does anyone know the rules for bringing underage teens to either the Brewery or 119? Then won't be drinking of course but merely attending in a Coke/squash way.
And thanks to the heads up Bs, it'd be easier to meet everyone at 119 now that I'll be distributing tickets today. Just been sorting them and now I'm excited!Comment

119 is just te bar at the back of aisle 119 so it's the thoroughfare we stand at the back near the exit doors have a beverage and a chat! Kids are fine.I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

I need to wait till I get my ticket. So I might have one or two there first.
Or I could raid the mini bar.
I will wander over to 119 when I get a chance.Comment
