Port player has died in Las Vegas

"The Port Adelaide Football Club has been informed that an Australian man who has died in Las Vegas is one of its players." Hearing rumors it was a balcony fall.

While not Swans related, a truly sad day in the AFL community.

I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his time

                      +1.

Poor bugger. And on his end of season break from what wasn't the best of years for the Club.
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

Devastating news. From what I saw of him he was a thoroughly decent bloke.

Thats really, really sad. A terrible reminder for all AFL players to take care when they let off steam post-season...
