Should MM play the Ressies GF?

Question of fitness vs risk of injury, with Benny out, can we risk him to keep his fitness at an acceptable level?

Doesn't need the run as he played a full bruising encounter last Saturday and risk of injury is too great. Imagine if he pulled a hammy!

Yep. Not often you get a chance to be a dual premiership player in the same season.

Save him for the prelim, he showed enough last week that he should at least get another chance in the 1's. Keep him fresh. On the other hand, him kicking a bag in the 2's may do us some good also.

Had a reyhink, yeh play him, start him & let him kick 5 then take him off, deserves a medal in the 2's.

He should play in the prelim, and actually think he is in our best 22 (I know hard to say from 1.25 games of senior footy). Get him hungry with a quick bag and then get him off!

                        Interesting quote from Longmire today:

?We just thought that specifically against Adelaide, that Mitch was a chance to play a role for us up forward, and he certainly did that,? Longmire said.

Yep, give him a chance to play in A granny. He has been there all year, is leading the comp in goals, it would be a bit mean to deny him that chance imho. He will be fine and available to play the next week. He missed a bit to start with so hasn't played a full season yet.

And besides, I don't think Horse had him in realistic finals sights in the first place. It was a chance and MM took it. There is a dilemma brewing I suspect.

Play him. He's not in our best 22 if McGlynn is fit and Grundy comes back in.

I would have thought if anyone needed game time it would be Luke Parker, subbed in the last 2 games. The problem is that the reserves are limited to 12 listed players in total for the whole game and playing anyone for a half would significantly impact on our chances of winning the flag.
