    Maxwell Out - Hard Luck

If I put aside the good fortune of the Swans for a second, I have to feel a tad sorry for Nick. That was a classic example of trying to get a yard on your opponent. Just so happens his opponent is a foot shorter and copped it on the snout.

I still don't know how Chapman can deliberately smash McGlynn's cheek (same height) and not have a case to answer.

The more I see Maxwell, Grundy etc rightly suspended the more I can't believe Barry Hall got off in 2005

It was a different world, AFL-wise seven years ago. He wouldn't get off today.

The fact that Bazza got off then would contribute to making it less likely that he would get off for a similar offence today. Does that make sense?

Maxwell is a big loss for the Pies - stating the bleeding obvious I know but it'll be interesting to see how they organise themselves down back without him there to marshall the troops.

Seems like a lot of suspensions for a finals round. Is this more than normal ?

Roll out the same old conspiracy theorists who say that the AFL gives Sydney an armchair ride.

Sucked in, Maxwell. Pathetic line from Buckley - the other player was "four-foot nothing". Hope we don't see him back until Round 2, 2013.

Actually, Hall didn't get off. He was found guilty and received a reprimand. (As Roughhead just did, BTW).

Staggers me that any non-Pie fan could feel sorry for Maxwell.

Him and Harry O'B just @@@@ me to distraction and I'm counting the days until my car insurance is due for renewal and I tell CGU why I'm going elsewhere...

Amen to this! Worst. Ad. Ever. Starring the blankest-looking, dumbest-sounding pair of tools in the entire league.

I truly wonder if CGU has a net increase or decrease of customers this year?
To all those people who waited 72 years to see a South Melbourne/Sydney Swans premiership HERE IT IS!!

                        Maxwell Out - Hard Luck

Maxwells constant moaning to the umpires is one of my pet hates in the game. I don't think he's much of a loss though-I'm sure they can find someone else to pick up uncontested possessions in the backline.
                        Regards,

Considering they have a monopoly on the massive Workcover market, I don't think they have to worry too much about it.
But yep, Maxwell and Obrien certainly don't have a career in the media waiting for them.

Maxwell's absence is a big problem for us .
To which Collingwood defender will we now kick the ball with laser-like accuracy?
