    Swan rates Swans

    Particularly Joey - here

I think it usual for this time of year.
If the one team slags the other, then that may give them something more to play for.
      Give them an added edge.

On the other hand, the Melbourne media has been completely one sided so the Pies know how good they will be this weekend - and the Hawks know they will be deserving Premiers. Their heads will be a strange space - the Pies players are at a funeral right now then have a three hour bus trip, a plane trip that lands in Sydney at 6.30 and then they are having a practice at ANZ. Lots of highs and lows and travel in that lot - after just a few days since their last hard game.

I wonder how long they have allocated to get from the airport to ANZ (presumably not via the Intercon)?

The Pies have Swan, Reid, Johnson and Goldsack in from last time we played them so they're very confident.

Anyone with some time up there sleeves should get on the Freeway and block it up ahead of them. Well more than it is usually blocked up.

There has been lots of talk about as to whether or not this preparation will be an advantage to Collingwood or not (in the media generally - not this site necessarily). I find the whole topic a bit unsavoury actually. A player tragically died and they're attending his funeral. Whether or not that helps or not is irrelevant, they were always going to attend.
