Glad that the Crows made them work hard for it. Maybe some wounded Hawks?

      AND THEN THERE WERE TWO!!!

All the pressure will be on the Hawks. They'll be hot favorites in that fish bowl called Melbourne. We'll be up here quietly preparing to ambush them in their own backyard.

Absolutely stocked to be in the big dance again! Heading over to Melbourne Friday night (arriving Saturday morning). Missed out on a ticket but hope to be lucky enough to secure one this week.

should be a cracker of a gf , get ready for all the slanted , biased commentary towards the hawks ..they really should play a tape back of themselves , malthouse is a joke - he never ever gives sydney any credit ..i hope that the boys can do it and shove it right up them.. this week they will all talk about how sydney can't win at the mcg ..hmm can't beat collingwood - done ! can't win at aami stadium ..done ! can't win in tassie ..done! can't win at patterson's ..done ! these guys have answered every challenge and as much as i would like to see us run away with the granny , i know it will be close ..sydney by 8 pts..go bloods

As long as the right Swans team turns up (i.e. not the one that turned up v Richmond and St Kilda) without any passengers like we've had in the finals, we'll really give it to them. Hawthorn have been kind of inconsistent too, but at their best, they're lethal. I guess you could say we're pretty damaging at our best, too.

Anyways I'm sure it'll be a great GF.

One thing the concerns me is the fact that Hawthorn were raging hot favourites to smash Adelaide and possibly complacency, arrogance, an eye to the following week etc may have caused the players not to be mentally in the right frame of mind, combined with the fact that Adelaide had nothing to loose and were not expected to win. Bearing this in mind I expect Hawthorn to be more attuned next week and can't see them playing as poorly (by their normal standards) as they did yesterday. I would have preferred that they had belted Adelaide than the close result.

If you can't get up for a Prelim - then there's a massive issue.
Hawks tried hard - credit to the Crows.
I've scanned their list and consider that our bottom six are well above theirs.

Go for it is all I can say. Josh will make them look like the idiots they are for letting him go, and Jetta will only need 1 or 2 chances to make them look silly and swing it our way. And if they are concentrating on them, they are forgetting about plenty of other fine players we have, including a man that can turn a game on its ear in a few seconds of brilliance in one Mr A Goodes.

On reflection, am quite happy to be playing Hawks, they have some issues and look flakey under pressure, not
that we didnt at times with poor goal kicking. Should be a fantastic game.
