Are there buses going from Sydney to the G?

Just wondering if anyone knows of, or where I can info on, any bus services transporting Swannies fans to Melbourne from Sydney?

Flight prices are @@@@ing ridiculous from Brissy so I'm trying to work out a cheaper option.

Give the club a call - they may arrange something - also look at he overnight train as well,
I used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

When I was a kid we didn't have these crazy cheap airfares so I've caught the bus/train between Sydney and Melbourne more times than I care to remember. Interesting experience, assuming it's still there you'll get the delight of dining at Vienna World!

Greyhound and Firefly run services, from memory I used to go on Firefly. I just had a quick check and you can book tickets on services leaving Thursday night/arriving Friday morning then heading out again on Sunday. $75 each way- if the club puts one on I imagine it'd be more fun but not sure they could get it much cheaper. Trains were more comfortable but are more expensive, and actually aren't any quicker (the line going down bows out a bit). $130 economy each way.

      Good luck.
