In 2005 I was working in Turkey on and off during the season and missed many of the winning games. Turkey's flag colours: red and white. Went to the GF.

In 2012 I was working in Singapore on and off during the season and missed many of the winning games. Singapore's flag colours: red and white. Have tickets to the GF.

Better start looking up other 'red and white' countries to work in next year!

1996 - Didn't go to GF, watched in Sydney
2005 - went to GF, then straight onto overnight boat to Tassie
2006 - Didn't go to GF, watched in Point Samson, WA
2012 - Not going to GF, watching from Tassie

        I missed in 96 , went in 05 , missed in 06 , going in 2012.
And in '05 I had a bet on Leo Barry as first goalscorer . And we know he won it down back , not up front . So I better stick a tenner on Ted .

The only thing I am supersticious about in my life is wearing Swans colours to a match. It stems I think back to the South days when we got done a fair bit. So I stopped wearing them. It seems if I wear the colours to a game we go poorly. This year I wore the cap to the Richmond game. We got done. Then I thought surely I would break the jinx against the Dogs. What happens, we are down 6 goals to 1 or 2. I take the cap off and fold it neatly away. We instantly come good. Needless to say I wont be wearing the colours on Saturday.

Japan, Canada, Switzerland just off the top of my head, so it looks like we have a dynasty in the making.

Plus Bindo, as I'm sure you've noticed, there is great skiing to be had in all of those countries

                    2 Omens this morning.
First was a nose bleed which dripped into the white sink this morning!!
2nd one was for the other team. But I flushed that away quickly.

I'd classify that as a good omen for us

Last time I was in Corowa playing golf was about 20 years ago. I saw John Longmire on the course going for a jog and had a quick chat to him about how he should be at the Swans.

I will be back playing golf at Corowa this Saturday for the first time in 20 years and now John Longmire is at the Swans.

Don't even know if that's an omen, but who cares.

P.S. Early morning tee off, so I won't miss the game.

not that we really need an omen ...our backs better than theirs , our mids better than theirs..their fowards probably better..we win... curious though the team that lost round 23 last season at the old skilled stadium - Geelong - won the flag...we lost there this year round 23....

I had a dream about Teddy Richards last night, he was sitting behind me at a Tony Robbins seminar and afterwards he came up to me and said "Are you ugg? I would love an autograph" so I gave him one and sent him on his merry way.

Putting money on him for the Norm Smith.
