Yeah, nah. I think that's the journo talking out his arse. Horse didn't say anything about it except the verbal equivalent of a shrug.
Officially on the Reid and Sumner bandwagon!

Watched the parade via Fox, saw a canadian flag with 38 on it down front. Good work someone!

And thanks for the links Aaar, was wondering if anyone had noticed up north. Great that they have.

The use of 2 ruckmen was one of the things that has saved Mummy from injury and got us where we are.Wet or dry, tall players don't get shorter as the game proceeds . No changes and we will win this one

Generally I like what Andrew Wu and Jesse Hogan produce, but in this case I suspect they've been reading RWO!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Actually... George Rawle (Ess, 1923), William James (Rich, 1920) - his one & only VFL game; both made their debuts in Grand Finals. Incidentally, both Essendon & Richmond won the Premiership in those years ... maybe Lamb should play?

                    Re: Pykey

Not as bad as the alleged Age journo this morning.apparently Hawthorn s victory is guaranteed because they have eight players with 20+ goals. Never mind that we have nine!

Weather doesn't appear to bad. You just can't change the team last minute. It would throw the players minds off what needs to be a concentrated hard fought first quarter. If it was very wet for sure I'd think about it but wouldn't make the change later than tonight.

And I read Bill James did not play again because , quite literally , he shot himself in the foot.

If we did have to make a late change , T.A. for me - cool head , excellent disposal - and it's his birthday tomorrow !
I told him to get a good night's rest cos ...you just never know if you're going to play !

                            Played an absolute blinder.

16 touches 29 hitouts (Mumford had 14) 6 marks the majority contested. Finished 4th in the DT rankings for the Swans.
The eternal connundrum "what happens when an unstoppable force meets an immovable object" was finally solved when David Hasselhoff punched himself in the face.

Brilliant game. Did anyone catch what he said when Ling asked if he had any words for BT?

Pretty sure I misheard it as 'I have nothing to say to BT'. Please tell me he said something wittier!
