Morton and Pyke were wonderful, they were all wonderful! I didn't think this year was going to be our year, thought more next year and 2014 but now I believe we can win all three. Well done to the players, coaching staff and the club as a whole. Proud to be a member of this mob, they fight every minute and every millimetre of the way. So many top performances especially from some who were injured. Goodsie, Teddy, Mummy and Jetts all injured in the end and all fighting tooth and nail. I thought Macca and Mal were wonderful today. A special mention to Rhyce Shaw, you were great, I hope you have buried your demons.Comment

Big Al - hope you had a great day. I've loved your contributions to RWO and it's people like you that, for me, make it so much sweeter when we do the unimaginable and win the bloody lot! Your passion is remarkable and I'm so happy that you got to see it. I hope you are enjoying it because it's fans like you that deserve it.Comment

I feel as contented as a fat cat in the sun. Voiceless. And oh so proud of our kids. Especially Hanners. But my biggest hugs go to NicMal. He played the game of his life. Our backman kicked two goals. Since When? The Bearded Ones are such good mates, and that slowmo after his last goal is a delight to watch.
That my dears, is what a might Team can do against the odds. Respect each other, trust each other, and think like a unit.
And to think that these boys belong to us! Respect. If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhoodComment

Indeed you do. I felt for them in a way I didn't feel for Geelong, St Kilda, Adelaide and Collingwood. I'm not fussed on their coach but I have great respect for the team and their ethos. He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. Had to go to hospital with a friend at 2pm, grrr, just finished replay, what a game, what character from young, injured and broken players. Statue of Goodes to be erected, Hanners and ROK should have both been given Norm's. LRT was again a big performer in a big game. Macca was brilliant and the whole midfield almost blotted out Hawthorn starts for teh most part. Character, the future looks bright as the presentYou can't argue with a sick mind - Joe WalshComment

What a day!!! We had the doubters, we had the weather , the emotional twists & turns , we had the roller coaster ride, and what a ride it was!! They got the job done!!! Had a grat day with Big Al and young Jordan - we cried, we sang, WE WON!!!!! And now I'm exhausted - sleep well everyone - safe travels home to you all and let's do it all again next year!! Hugs Wardy xxI used to be indecisive, but now I'm not so sure..................

Great stories appearing at Swans website. Goodesy played through a torn PCL - Longmire told the group in the back room after the game. Ted could not even walk on Wednesday, says his Dad. And Malceski says he doesn't know what he was doing forward - "John Blakey tells me not to go in the forward 50."Comment

Am stoked for all of you who spent so much hard earned to buy tix, accommodation, airfares, sustenance etc etc and got to witness one of the worlds great sporting events and see the boys nail it when it mattered.
There isn't anything to quite match being there."He was proud of us when we won and he was still proud of us when we lost' Tami Roos about Paul Sept 06.Comment

What an incredible last 12 mins. The Hawks looked to have the momentum - how good was Goodes, LRT, Hanners ... every one put in ... and the sealer from NicMal. I think I would have given the Norm Smith medal to Macca.
As I said, the Crows at AAMi, The Magpies at ANZ and the Hawks at the MCG ... it was meant to be!Comment
