Yep. Heard that idiot saying all the excuses in the world for hawthorn. It hast been hardly mentioned in the media how stiff we were with the umpires. Even before seeing the stats watching at the game, we just could not buy a free kick. I heard him too and he was very annoying. Apparently we got the luck of the green because we kicked six straight one quarter whereas they kicked 4.5 and missed some other opportunities. Newsflash Dermie - Buddy Franklin's goalkicking has sucked his entire career. It's not called bad luck. It's called a massive technical deficiency that has let him and his team down many times over the years. It's one that a number of good judges (as opposed to Dermott) have said for years would hurt them bigtime, when they could least afford it, and now it has. It was the opposite of bad luck - it was an absolutely predictable accident happening in extreme slow motion. Can you imagine Lockett, Dunstall, Lloyd, Wade, McKenna or any number of other great forwards pissing away golden opportunities the way this guy does?
