    Big J. White!

Yeah I like Moose. Calling Spangher Spanky was far worse, I still cringe thinking about that godawful nickname.

What about "dudley" as in Dudley Doright of the Mounties

But my favourite Canuk has to be Plasticine Pamela from Baywatch - she still does it for me !

Pyke's simply the Mountie for me.

Fingers crossed JDub can turn this into a positive and turn his career around. I'd be delighted to see it.

Ah yes, Moose Henwood, number 9 from memory? Would charge around like a loose cannon which is how Hafey wanted him to play I reckon - bloody long time ago!

And on Mr.White, the hour is very very late but there's too much talent inside him to not hold out a glimmer of hope in this, his probable last season. We all still hope for miracles I'm sure, maybe the work he did in the ressies and the angst of the past month will make the penny drop.

Sorry taken, "Dudley" was an early nickname for Greg Stafford.

There was nothing wrong with the Spangher/Spanky nickname.

very year I expect it to be the season when White finally turns it around and starts dominating, and every year he lets me down. That said I actually thought the games he played this year he looked the best he has in years. If there's one thing I've learnt by now it's that he always diappoint me but I STILL expect him to turn it around next year, and all the evidence to the contrary be damned!!!!

Hi Charlie Brown - Lucy's holding the ball ready for you to kick it!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)
