i think the intro of Brandon, Tom, Lambie, Rampe etc has been golden and an imperative succession planning
i) the lads who can perform at Snr level stay which is just awesome because they will be hard to match up on initially as not much is known about them
ii) if they cant quite perform week in week out at Snr level they know what to go back and work on
iii) we also have them ready if injuries strike this season with a taste of Snr level footy which is critical coming into the finals etc
iv) above all they put everyone on notice that you can make he snr team if you put in the work and conversely if you dont put in the work you can be dropped from the Snr team. Everyone is on notice !"be tough, only when it gets tough"

Good luck to BJ tomorrow
I have been impressed by the little bit of what I've seen of him in Reserves game this year. I bet his Dad is looking forward to it, and couldn't imagine 10 years ago that he'd have two sons playing together for the Swans!!!
"You get the feeling that like Monty Python's Black Knight, the Swans would regard amputation as merely a flesh wound."Comment

I had an image of him sitting around, watching the State of Origin with some old league mates on Wednesday night and turning to one and saying;
"You know, they're going to announce tomorrow that Brandon's getting his first game."
"So that'll be 2 of your kids playing in the AFL?"
"Yep!"
"Aww geez, where did you go wrong? You and your wife aren't cousins or something are you?"I knew him as a gentle young man, I cannot say for sure the reasons for his decline
We watched him fade before our very eyes, and years before his timeComment

How excitement. Saw a bit of the Ressies game before Geelong match and BJ was slippery and enthusiastic that night.
Will be great to see if comes up at the top level.
Just turned 19. Looks like a natural to me. Hope he is good enough to play 300 games.Comment

How time flies, I forgot about that. Its shortly going to become The Famous Jack Bros from the Sydney Swans, whose father used to play rugby league. Not son of rugby league great Gary Jack.If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhoodComment
