Who wants to be normal? Where has it got Melbourne, Richmond, going for young players? Nowhere yet.

Rebounding half back type, free up Shaw a bit, or maybe a complement to Jetta and Rohan on the wings?

I like the look of him. We have an ageing running half back line and he seems like he's a good prospect for that.
He had observed that people who did lie were, on the whole, more resourceful and ambitious and successful than people who did not lie.

Wouldnt surprise to see him drop here as a ready made replacement for Young. Has come from the bush to dominate at VFL level this year and then showed his ability when he played state as well. Clubs won?t have any issues convincing themselves of his upside. Is lightning quick, tested as elite in the vertical jump and is a very good ball user so he presents as one of those players you can transition the ball through. My only worry is whereas Smith?s form got better as year went on Towers appeared to taper but that may be more a reflection of the engine not yet being ready and a couple of injuries he had. Brodie Murdoch or Rory Atkins are ones I would consider here. If they went tall here Aidan Corr would have to be one in the mix.

I can't get over anyone being 22 and a mature age anything.

                    Harrison Marsh at pick 44

Sounds like a Campbell Heath-type "3rd tall defender". Replacement for Mattner, maybe?

Is it just me or does Harrison Marsh look like an 18 yo going on 28?

Offence, attack, vision. The recruiters are putting together a jigsaw puzzle aren't they. Like their work.

                          PLAYER ASSESSMENT
A prodigious kick of the football with excellent defensive skills who likes to attack and take the game on. Shows very good vision and disposes of the ball very effectively either by hand or foot. A very good one-on-one defender that played three games for WA in the NAB AFL Under 18 Championships. Currently averaging 15.5 disposals and 4.4 marks per game in 14 matches for East Fremantle at Colts level.

Tim Membrey, tatts......Jesse will have company.
Apparently he was rated as going in the top 10. Keen surfer.

                              What an odd draft!
