Mature-aged prospects Leigh Osborne and Dean Towers also enhanced their chances of being selected at the NAB AFL Draft with their respective times of 2.86sec and 2.89sec, placing them inside the top six.


Towers and Osborne backed up those performances over 20m with a strong showing in the repeat sprint test with their respective times of 24.48sec and 24.74sec, placing them inside the top four runners.

Club is obivously reasonably OK with its inside stocks. All the players picked tonight seem to be tallish, quickish flanker types, whether in defence, on the wing or up forward.

How come Tim Membry slipped through to the keepers at pick 46? Anyone? Especially as their was some real deliberation going on for other clubs picks.

if Membrey was 192cm plus he would have been taken in a heart beat in the first rd

at 189cm he is an in between height me thinks for a top of the goal square type player

lets see as he saids if he can become that lead, lead, lead again third tall !

Darling who he refers to is more like 191cm plus from memory

but who knows.......Membrey could grow taller ?
