    Song from mis 80s

Had a bottle of red tonight (yes, I know I should have had white too) and got a bit nostalgic about the early/mid 80s when I first followed the Swans.

Can anyone remember the words to that song they played on the ground PA after every Swans goal at the same time the Swans girls in the hot pants would do a gig?

Yes, I know I'm an old bastard!

Ah, Swanettes. They weren't Bloods culture but I'm sure they helped bond the team. They certainly bonded the crowd.

At some point in the song, possibly to coincide with a strategic move by the Swanettes, the song went: "Show 'em Sydney!"
The man who laughs has not yet heard the terrible news

That was the time I started following the Swans as well. Here's the full version of the song played after every goal. I remember humming this and doing the grunting bit for weeks after the Essendon massacre. The Swanettes earned their money that day.

..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC
