Excellent, a game across the road from me at Ainslie.

Never sure who to barrack for in those matches. Bit of a win-win for me.

Just got to hope for a dryish winter now as that draw looks sensational for the ressie watchers. It looks like every home game except the Richmond game has a curtain raiser, even the 2 Friday night games at the SCG.

Another bonus is they play an away game at Skoda as a curtain raiser to Giants/Crows. We can go and watch them and ask the Crows fans if they think Tippett will do well when he gets back....

That game against NT Thunder in Alice Springs ought to be good. Hope we get a live webcast like in the Darwin game.

Is Jarred Crouch confirmed as coach for next year?

Our reserves bye is the same weekend as the senior bye, so Tippett will miss the ressies match before round 12.

So Tippett's first game in the red and the white could be in Alice Springs. Handy trivia question.

A good mate of mine (Swans supporter, of course) actually did do a road trip across the Northern Territory and parts of Queensland. Was funny seeing photos of signs pointing towards names of towns I've never even heard of, like Gwabegar, Gulargambone and Goorianawa. Would love to do a similar trip one day and see some of this wide brown land!

Its a dilemma Xie, isn't it. You can't go in footy season. But if you want to travel north, you can't go in the off season as it is also the wet season. You'd drown. You just have to fly, hire a car and drive during the bye weeks.
