Membrey2012.jpgI finally remembered today who Membrey reminds me of

Daniel Bradshaw and at a massive stretch Glenn Archer who was a FF all his junior years till his second season with North

Must say that a young bloke with so much ink aint a good look. Makes you wonder what other kind of stuff he's gotten up to. Call me an old fart but I reckon an 18 year old with a sleev of tough stickers would be enough to turn a lot of clubs off.

till, as long as he does the business on the field for us....

You told me to, so I will, you must be an old fart haha. Tattoos are becoming very popular with everyone, and he's tatts seem harmless, they arnt dark themed/ skulls ect. I bet they represent a good time of his life.
Also a lot of swans have tattoos, just not as visible.
As long as he doesn't end up looking like Dane Swan, he'll be fine.

          Old fart.

But so am I, I guess.
          I have no tatts.
Kind of wanted one when I was in my early 20's, but decided that if I still did at 30, that I should go ahead as taht was a fair amount of time to not regret the potential of getting a tattoo.

By 30 interest had waned, and not really that fussed any more, but I see so many kids going crazy these days.
Makes you wonder what society will look like in 20 or 30 years.
Lots of old wrinkly tattoos I guess.

The guy who kicked the 1st and last goal in the Grand Final has a bloody awful tattoo that covers his back so tattoos, while I don't like the myself, is non issue in my view,

Having said when I was younger I nearly got a dolphin tattoo (long story). I'm so glad I didn't because over the years that dolphin would have turned into a beluga whale that has seen better days.

Seems someone has their judgy shirt on today! "Oh well if he has tattoos, he must be in a gang!" I just thought my Asian relatives were judgy haha

Like Big Al said, fair enough you can have your personal opinion on the appearance of someone's tattoo, but that tattoo is on their body and they have full ownership of it.

I think the reason so many people get tattoos is because our society lacks any real coming of age rites and younger people like to "do things" once they reach adulthood ie get a licence, start drinking, get tattoos. I doubt it's rebellion as tattoos have been around for ages but more of just a personal representation.

And at least it's not a tattoo of Pinocchio on his nether regions! Now that is a tattoo I'd be up in arms about haha

I saw an "old Fart" at the supermarket checkout the other day. His head was covered in tatts. It was a weird look. I wonder if he regrets it. Was getting strange stares.

I don't mind NicMal's tatt, its huge but it is important to him, for personal reasons.

Don't like the multi colour rainbow tatts though. Not so fond of Jesse's either. Isn't it weird that Drey is the only one of five siblings who doesn't have a tatt! Maybe tatt overload.

Oh well. It always looks to be a good idea at the time.

If and I do say IF Membrey comes near to being a Braddles who cares.

                        Yeah, tatts. They're all class.

Do have to love the guns, even if not what they have drawn on them. How long until NAB Cup??

Personal opinion here. I have never seen a tattoo that I liked.

I can accept Olympians getting the rings and even premiership players baring a red and white Swan but even they should be out of sight. They just looks tacky to me. And check out old blokes with old tatts. Just sad.

Reminds of a joke Dave Allen said on his piss-funny show once. He saw a sailor with a "W" on each cheek. When he bent over in the shower it said "WoW" and if you turn him upside down it says "MoM".

When I saw Membrey play a few state games on telly this year, I noticed the tatts immediately. I forgot them just as quickly too when he marked strongly and kicked as straight as an arrow. He had a real presence on the field too. I like the way he goes about things and I'm stoked that we somehow jagged him.
