    First article I've seen about Peter Bedford that doesn't mention his nickname.
    He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

        My all time favorite Swan. Still remember him tearing up the Lake oval every 2nd Saturday. Then having the pleasure of going into the rooms after the game and chatting to him. Always had the time of day for the fans.
