Swans jersey.jpgI was given this for Christmas. I'm very grateful but I worry that the letters on the front say SSFC - there's no SMFC anywhere. Have we changed? Or is this a dodgy copy despite the official AFL label?

I believe it stands for Sydney Swans Football Club

Perhaps it's only the guernseys that display the SMFC, and not other apparel.

Yeah the summer gear tends to use the SSFC acronym on a lot of it

My recollection is that the SMFC is only on the back of game day jumpers/supporters jumpers and on the "first 18" collection.

I have a polo shirt with the Swans V emblem on the LHS, and a large self emboidered 74 on the RHS of the chest. I have never known its significance.

Any clues?
