AC/DC originated in Sydney, so any of their many great hits would be my preferred option.
Like INXS as well.Comment

I'm a fan of the G-Up that american sports do. A few conditions....the American sound systems at their football and baseball grounds are unbelievably good so we'd need to spend $ bringing the sound systems at the grounds up to speed. Secondly, they dont play full songs prior to the games, they only play parts of songs that pump the crowd.....ie Queen's ....We will rock you.......it works if the quality is great. If the sound system is something like a pilot's message onboard a cheap flight...well I think we've all been there. And I do like the idea of player choices, in some American sports...they put the player's choice up on the scoreboard and play it.....its funny to see the camera on the player dancing and his teamates ribbing him. Yes, we could learn more showmanship from other sports.....with the AFL's help not to keep taking personality out of the game.Comment

I follow the lad on twitter, and he drives the other boys nuts with his music recommendations, which amuses me no end. However when he came up with an album Valtari (Sigur Ros) I just had to check it on itunes, ended up downloading it for myself. Greenland? Iceland? Anyway it is definitely an Alternative choice for anyone and a surprisingly left of center recommendation from a 22yo AFL footballer, no matter how well educated he is. I think he is great. If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhoodComment

As for the entrance song, not happy with the club song, which is a victory one for the win, but I do agree our version of Up There is a worthy contendor. Up there for Sydney, in there and fight, spirit of Sydney show them your might.....its got a lot going for it.. Cheap too I would imagine. If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhoodComment

I'm a fan of Tony Armstrong too. Behind Ben McGlynn and Gary Rohan in the unlucky stakes. Played some great footy in 2012 I reckon. An exciting player with good taste. It's very hard to live in a studio apartment in San Jose with a man who's learning to play violin. That's what she told the police when she handed them the empty revolver.
