Westpac Stadium | Seat View
gives the definitive seat positions......The rows are marked with reference to the entrance stairs (about a third of the way way up)...the rows above the entrance go A-Z (A being closet to the field)...the rows below the entrance go AA-NN.....AA being near the entrance and NN being on the fence. If you click on a section of this map it zooms to a section. If you click on any of the three "Men" icons it gives you a photo of the ground from that place....kewell!
At ticketek, if you select "premium covered" then it will select a seat ABOVE the aisle and if you select "premium uncovered" it will select a seat BELOW the aisle. Also the particular seats are highlighted in blue in your section, so you can use that to refer to the stadium map to see EXACTLY where the seat is. :-)
Currently Premium uncovered = Section 7-8 row M (around the Rugby 25 and 2/3rds back)...will be half way between the fifty and centre, I reckon......and Premium uncovered section 9-10 row EE (right on the half way line about 1/5 of the way back...8 rows from fence)
If you select "Fanzone Sydney" you get section 35-36.....behind the left point post at the Northern End
If you select "Fanzone St. Kilda" you get section 16-17.....behind the left point post at the Southern End
Just debating with the senior manager whether I can go :-0"I'll acknowledge there are more talented teams in the competition but I won't acknowledge that there is a better team in the competition" Paul Roos March 2005Comment

We booked on Ticketmaster and didn't get any of this stuff. I assumed there were not tiers, going by the ground map, but had no idea where the seats were. We'd be taking our ponchos anyway! He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)Comment

here is a quick video of the Saints training at Wellington today
Mark Robinsons is a drip (added a new month to the calendar called anzac) and he goes on about the Saints a bit
but the video shows the layout of the "cake tin" very well.... so seats above the entry points are classed as under cover, but I think on a April night in windy Wellington you would want to be further back than row A to stay dry (I'm a kiwi from Wellington so I have inside knowledge)
I'll be booking tickets around row H, I or J
Sorting out my air tickets for a 3 week holiday next week.... can't wait for the Swans to win this game

I hear that Scott is going to set up a special website to cater for the game:
Called www.ridundwoitonloin.com.
You can't use it unless you're wearing a pair of skinnnies or jandals.Nothing like a good light bulb moment.Comment
