      That's a lot for one month. Statistically we should have three January birthdays.

      Not sure if that runs counter to the theory that elite athletes tend to come from the first half of the school year, or confirms it.

      Or more proof that there's no-one like the Bloods.

          In Aussie Rules they are referred to as top age players. The top age theory works in under age footy where 6 months often makes a big difference in the build of a player. It would be a good exercise to work out if bottom age players are more often those who are late developers at senior level, such as those picked up as mature age draftees and rookies.
