    RWOWIKI Draft/Trade History since 1986

I've update this table over the off season.
I've used several resources to help me out with the details.
Feel free to update if there are any changes that need to be made.

The good thing with the wiki is it keeps a complete history, so it is easy to back changes if there is an issue.

Well done, Scott and thank you.

No disrespect to the Swans of that era, but reading those draftees of the late 80s and early 90s put me in mind of a tuber farm.

      It is an interesting read.
      Our drafting has improved dramatically.

Thanks for the work you put into the wiki Scott - it continues to be a useful resource.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Great effort Scott. You are to Wiki as what Ugg is to ressies reports.

I'm trying to work out when Kenny was drafted.

From memory of a half time piece it was when the Swans came to Sydney. The only thing I definitely remember is that he said he had no favourites, once they put on the red and white jumper, he barracked for them all the same.
Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way you'll be a mile away and he'll be shoeless.

What a horror in the early years! I had forgotten that in 92 we traded out picks 1 and 3 for Watters, Begovich, Considine and Werner! What the @#$%@ were they thinking? I demand blood!

The good thing is, I think they have learnt from their mistakes.

Is the Watters the current Saints coach?

It was a package that included Ambrose and pick 20

To be fair Prior and Banfield weren't much Cummings who cares we got Plugger

At the time practically none of our draft picks came to Sydney anyway we could not afford them
You don't ban those who supported your opponent, you make them wallow in their loserdom by covering your victory! You sit them in the front row. You give them a hat! Toby Ziegler

The better thing is, we have a completely different football department.

Yep. For a couple of years he was a genuinely good player for us. I used to feel very sorry for him - always put in and was clearly several classes better than most of his teammates.
