Yes, it was just a fluke in the last minute of play. I think it was McVeigh's turnover (?). I don't think even the Suns thought it was a big deal.

Hopefully they play one set of brothers in one game - and the other set of brothers in the other game !!

To give them (the players) and their family members a "warm & fuzzy" feeling.

I was over from Adelaide and went to that game. From memory it was very hot and we played the back to back games looking tired in the second game against the Suns and (Swallow?) snagged a late goal to win it for them.

Could be similar against GWS and they are a much better equiped side than the Suns were.

Looking forward to seeing all the Swans newies.

Hayden Jolly (no longer with them) kicked that winning goal for the Suns.

We've named a strong squad. I'm really looking forward to seeing generation next, but I would like to think we'd win both games if we want to.

Re: NAB Cup: Sydney Swans v Carlton Blues v GWS Giants

I know it's probably not the right thing to say around here but I have zero interest in these trial games. I'll probably watch on Sunday unless of course Foxtel put on a Golden Girls double episode.

Looking at the newbies in these games is okay but I'll get to do that when the reserves play in games that actually mean something.

Having said that I'll probably go out to Blacktown for the Suns trial match in a couple of weeks. More to socialise with people I haven't seen since September than to watch a game of footy.

The steel reinforcements for said chairs won't be ready until the Suns match so I'll give Sunday a miss.

Yes, but that's not necessarily a Blacktown thing, us Jews eat falafel in the Eastern Suburbs too you know!! Just ask Mike_B
