    Hanners contract

In the thread about JPK's re-signing, some posters mentioned the need to re-sign Hanners as well.

I thought we'd already locked him away but my memory isn't what it should be.

Can anyone clarify our situation with Hanners? He's just gotta be a Swan for his whole career!

I heard he met with Sheedy at the Innuendo Bar and Grill not long ago.
..And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC

Nothing like a good light bulb moment.

Personally I'd be more concerned about my own commitment to being a Swans member over the next 4 years than Dan's willingness to sign a contract for the same period. The kid loves the red & white so much, he leaves most fans for dead in the commitment stakes.

Totes agree. Read from I think Primmy's report from Blacktown game that he is treated like a mascot/talisman by the other players.

We definitely have to move on Hannas now as his contract expires this year. He loves the Swans but best to be sure and get his mark on the dotted line

Four years would be good. Back-ended for when Goodes and ROK retire.

I got it! It would be significantly back-ended.
