Smiffy was Captain of his school playing on ball (captaining Cyril who was Swanning around the forward line, of course).....Carey or Xavier or Scotch...yeah Scotch, I think

Scotch College, Melb (as opposed to the one in Perth & Adelaide, or Scott's in Sydney). Same place we got Ed Barlow from ... and Andrew Erickson (who never quite made it)
Xavier provided the majority of our other APS boys (both Richards', Alex Johnson, Josh Kennedy, Dan Hannebery ... & Matt Spangher from last year).
Ryan O'Keefe was from StKevins ... next door to Scotch
