    Accessing AFL sites.

    Am I the only one around who is having trouble accessing the AFL downloads? No problems anywhere else, but any feedback would be appreciated.
    If you've never jumped from one couch to the other to save yourself from lava then you didn't have a childhood

      Hi Primmy,

      The whole AFL system is having major problems today - which is definitely not ideal with the home-and-away season about to get underway tonight!
      The AFL and Telstra are working on it, and we'll hopefully be back up and running as soon as possible. Please bear with us in the short-term.

          In previous seasons when there was a Thursday night game to open the season and the teams for the rest of the round were released at 5pm that same day, you could set your watch to a 6pm meltdown as 100K+ feverishly logged on to their dreamteam page to make last minute changes before the teams were locked in for the year...

                  This seasons opener is tonight, not Thursday night. I have been having trouble accessing certain different vids and apps too. Why does it always seem to be the Swans stuff? Probably just having persecution complex here!

                          Telstra Web server is terrible, I know nothing about Web Design. But I do go to Uni with a lot of people who know heaps and they don't have a great deal of good things to say about them. How many times has the AFL site or one if not all of the club sites been down in the last year. There is a big blog on the AFL Facebook page asking the AFL to dump Telstra as Web Provider. I'd like to see them get a better TV deal too without FOX. We pay much more for our Pay TV i Australia than they do in Europe and US. Much more than most countries in the world.
