From the TV coverage, I couldn't agree more. The surface looked like a cow paddock.
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

      ANZ Stadium poor form

I checked the stadium map while we were in the queue for reallocation. We were moved from platinum to platinum. I'm glad we turned up early enough to be able to queue and not miss the start; part of paying for a reserved seat should be knowing that you can go straight there without worry.

The platinum seats in the retractable area are terrible, I don't understand why they use those as expensive seats. Is it that the stadium is short of really good seating?

The surface was terrible on the edges where the stands were retracted - due to the NRL and soccer matches the night before and earlier in the week. Really dangerous and also impacted the quality of play a few times.

Yet the AFL approves the ground every time we play there. Go figure.

I'm no expert, but are there any other venues we could play at when our expected attendance will exceed the SCG's capacity? Is ANZ Sydney's answer to the MCG?

No, but it is the only stadium in Sydney that can handle say more than 40K people.
Wild speculation, unsubstantiated rumours, silly jokes and opposition delight in another's failures is what makes an internet forum fun.

Have been looked after by ANZ stadium for a future game. Received a big apology. Happy with the outcome

Good to hear and so you should have been, should never have happened in the first place.
