During the game, Basil Zempilas called Jarrad McVeigh kicking a goal "Mark" which I found quite funny because Mark was sitting right next to him.

He's at it again...our friend Nathan Brown.
On the way home from my friends place where I watched the game, listening to the radio(pre game talkback for the Geelong vs Carlton game), the triple m team start talking about the afternoon games. They get to Swans vs Roos game, one of the team mentions that the swans are 3 from 3 and put in an awesome performance in the 3rd quarter kicking 11 goals and thats when Nathan Brown's rant starts......
"Could the swans have had an easier start to the year? They play the 2 easybeats from last year first up, whilst poor North Melbourne has to play 2 heavyweights in Collingwood and Geelong. North perform admirably only to just fail and be 0-2. The Swans have effectively had 2 weeks extra training with 2 warm up games against GWS and G.C and are 2-0. The swans are now running rampant after being played into form from this soft draw so ofcourse they're going to easily account for an admirable Roos side"....or words to that effect.
Don't believe me? Watch tomorrow's Sunday footy show and I bet he says the exact same thing when they cover the Swans/Roos game!!!
I'm calling it now folks. What we have here is our(swans supporters) new Melbourne based Media personality who hates the swans.
First there was BT(still continues to this day), then David Schwartz and now Nathan Brown.
Really....it makes no difference to me what any journo thinks. I bet if I looked hard enough I could find a negative article/quote about every club during this week.Does God believe in Atheists?Comment

While on Zempilas, I find him the most predictable, boring caller in the game. Does not have the slightest insight into the game...keeps telling us what we are looking at. Callers need some insight, some perceptions of trends, some vision beyond the man with the ball...oh, and, in his case, a better understanding of the rules.Comment

I prefer Zempilas to any other commentator who talks about anything except the game that's actually going on in front of them. Some commentators seem to think they are there to entertain the viewers while a football game goes on in the background. All that is necessary for the triumph of evil is that good men do nothing. - Edmund BurkeComment

Re: Melbourne media at it again!!!
Listening to SEN today, which I rarely do, because I'm in Sydney, I heard one of the talking heads say (about the Swans) :
They have no injuries at the moment, just Jarred Rohan
Not only is it not right, it's not even wrong, as Wolfgang Pauli would have said. Before you criticize a man, walk a mile in his shoes. That way you'll be a mile away and he'll be shoeless.Comment

Re: Melbourne media at it again!!!
Go easy on the commentators guys... They did bring Jarryd McVeigh into the box to give us all insight on the game...And the Swans are the Premiers...The Ultimate Team...The Ultimate Warriors. They have overcome the highly fancied Hawks in brilliant style. Sydney the 2012 Premiers - Gerard Whately ABC
