    Swans Headlines 2013

Trying to anticipate a few of the more predictable headlines we'll attract this year.

Eddie today got an obvious one in with "Swans gifted easy start to season'.

Immediately after round 11 "Tippett's six goal bag in his first game reopens Swans COL argument".

Around mid August 'Swans sneak under the radar".

In a fortnight "Cats fall to SCG Friday night hoodoo yet again".

Anytime "Eddie complains Swans have too many games at SCG..should play at ANZ".

Anytime from now to September 7th 'Swans continue to sneak under the radar".

Mid July Garry Lyons laughed at when he reminds people that Swans are motoring along nicely and are a

    threat to Geelong Hawthorn etc

    Plenty more there guys...any thoughts?

        Sometime in August.
Hawks and Pies favourites for flag. Whilst Swans remain unbeaten for the season.

"Swans unknowns mount surprise challenge for flag."

              "Magpies' ANZ hoodoo continues"

              Or perhaps

              "Ray Chamberlain announces retirement"

Ok 2 out of 3 wouldn't be bad.....

Recycled players.....Bloods culture......always give an honest contest.....love stoppages.......pride themselves on contested footy.......blah blah blah

BTW, last year we lost clearances ,and lost contested possession, on a regular basis...go figure

What we actually won nearly all the time.... was tackles...Wonder when those learned commentators will pick that up.

IMO, pressure, discipline and spread wins footy, and thats something the Swannies excel at.

                          Some very funny headlines here!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

That goes double for Pyke: useless in the wet especially if it's a grand final.

Swans steal back-to-back flags as (insert large Melbourne club name here) rue missed chances and questionable umpiring decisions.

                              (Sunday, 29 September)
