We are probably see less of Mummy in the midfield due to Pyke's improvement, but Mummy at his best is a ruckman/midfielder not a high marking fwd. Maybe he does need to rest on the bench a little bit more, just like our other midfielders?
Pyke is becoming a good forward as well as a ruckman. If keeps it up he will be taking Tippo's position.
The real problem is LRT being out. Last time he was out we got thumped by Richmond.

Mummy had 81% game time on Friday, so he did spend a fair bit on time on the bench. More than Pyke did. He's also supposed to have a pretty good tank.

Longmire did mention that Mummy was a bit off as a forward last game. But he has been quite a good mark and kick in the past. Mummy at his best is pretty solid all around, in the ruck, as a midfielder and a pack crashing forward. He's just not quite at the top of his game at the moment, but not all that bad either.

Early in the season, but Pyke is sitting at #3 in the league for contested marks

Changes for Round 5 v Saints

If Mummy can reach his best our ruck combo would be unstoppable. He doesn't look fit to me, hasn't all year.

Walsh is a dud. Should have brought in the Big Whitey.
LRT. Lord Roberts-Thompson. He may look like the Munster, but looks can be deceiving.

Suprising if that's true, the big irishman has looked well below the pace at senior level, would have thought Bird in for some more run or White ahead of Tommy if a big man was chosen

Gee, Morton is a bit stiff.....and Armstrong is lucky.

Maybe the thinking is Armstrong as sub.
