    What Sam Reid needs.

I have some advice for our recruiters. What Sam Reid needs is another talented big man in that forward to take the pressure off and to take the best defender. We all saw what he could do when the Lions didn't have him as their focus.

    Get to it Horse.

You're right Al. I can't understand why the coaches can't see this.
In the meantime, MikePyke is doing his bit: what about that great mark and goal despite the close attentions of Daniel Merrett? Fantastic! The pub roared into life!
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

If they don't make this happen sometime after the half way point of the season Horse should be sacked.

I have heard that our recruiters are already on it but all the best forwards have said they are going to other clubs.

I wonder if this is the plan Al. Maybe Tippett could make that role his own.

                  Tippett!!
According to the AFL app Hutchy reckons Swans making a play for Tippett? Not a free agent so what would it cost us?

Or did we already have a thread about this? Gee, can't remember.

I think we should be wary of drafting the best available big KPF to bolster our only real weakness. If it costs a lot of money, the usual suspects may impune the integrity of our Cost of Living Allowance.

Needs to work as hard as he did on Saturday, every week. Then hold his marks. QED.

Saw on TV the other night that Sam was No.3 for pressure acts (157) in the league. And his mark last night against Freo was remarkable. He is a great mark when he doesn't have 2 or 3 players hanging off him. Would he benefit from playing down back for a little while?

Three more games and Reid won't have 2 or 3 blokes hanging off him. He may have dropped a few last night, but he also held on to more than anyone else on the ground.
