Hannebery......he is going nuts at the moment

how good was the commentary call in the second qtr re Hannes

ie when Hannebery had approx 4 touches in the lead up to Kennedy centering a kick to Parker who scored

"Hannebery.......he is going nuts at the moment"

Phew... Saw the title and thought this might have related to the Swans Recovery thread.

The only 2 stats that Hanners is down on from last year are Tackles (marginally) and Frees Against.
He is getting an avg of 3.4 more possessions per game and his efficiency is up.

He is also scoring more 0.6 goals/game and 0.5 behinds/game.

I'd say he is going nuts.
I'd like to know how much further he is running per game, as he seems to be everywhere and usually at the right end of the ground.
Time on Ground is also up 9.8% per game.

He and Parker and taking a huge load off the rest of the mids!!

he is one of those players every time he handles the ball, he seems to make the right decision and create more of an advantage.

I love seeing the ball in his posession

        Genuine superstar.

A possible comparison: Sam Mitchell with more pace and less attitude?
He reminds him of the guys, close-set, slow, and never rattled, who were play-makers on the team. (John Updike, seeing Josh Kennedy in a crystal ball)

Isn't he our fittest player on time trials? Hanners?
Captain, I am detecting large quantities of win in this sector

Hanners has attitude don't you worry about that...why do you think he was the main target in the paintball session during pre-season?

He has been eating his Weetbix, hasn't he.

I remember thinking during the cats game that we missed his gut running as an outlet (after the thousand massive hits, he was a little lame and didn't seem to run freely). I love his hardness, his handballs out of congestion, and especially his passion for the game, but I think his ability to get free when we are coming out of defence is the most important thing for out club.

                  God love him.
He has the footy brain of a 42 year old.
                  Hope he lasts that long.

He really has been exceptional. Some of his plays on Sunday were so quick and so skillful they were hardly believable.

On SEN this morning, it was mentioned that his total disposals per game has increased each game this season.

The only player to do so in the AFL.
